Enon Baptist Association exists to promote the message of the
saving grace of Jesus Christ through management of the cooperative mission and
ministry endeavors of our member churches. This association is to be a loving
fellowship of Southern Baptist congregations in South Central Oklahoma, bound
together by the redeeming mercy of God.
The Enon Baptist Association was organized August 29, 1885 at Wilson Creek Church, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, eight miles southwest of present-day Ardmore. The present association consists of thirty-five churches and one mission in four counties.
The Baptist association in North America is local churches in a geographical region cooperating together to reach people, do missions and ministries both locally and globally.
Enon Baptist Association faces the future with new and dynamic ways to equip churches and believers to share the timeless message of Jesus Christ.
Enon gets its name from John 3:23…”John was also baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was plenty of water there.” (HCSB)
